Other benefices: I have another Benefice the Rectory of Lewtrenchard about six Miles distant from this Parish, a small Parish, about twelve Families in it, serv'd by the Revd. Samuel Harness Rector of Stowford an adjacent Parish to it, both my Parishes are in the Arch-Deaconry of Totness.
Chapels: there is a Chapel in this Parish belonging to the Barton of Leigh, an Estate the Property of the Duke of Bedford, but not served for more than an hundred Years past, that I can find, nor apply'd to any private Use.
School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: We have no publick School here but five Pounds per Annum was left by Mr Thomas Parsons of this Parish to be given to the Master of a Private School for writing & reading for the Space of forty years, thirty eight of which are past, for the Education of five poor Children each year & five Pounds per Annum to be given to the Poor of this Parish during the above space of forty years likewise which has been duly apply'd.
Charity: We have no Lands or Tenements left for any pious or charitable Uses, nor any other benefaction, but only that of Mr. Thomas Parsons as above mention'd, which has been properly applied.
Priest's orders and institution: The Date of my Priest's Orders in 1746. My Institution to Milton Abbott was in 1765 to Lew Trenchard in 1761.
